Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Thank you to the people and companies that contributed time and products to the CCBA booth at the October 21, 2001 Susan G. Komen, "Race for the Cure." The 11th annual 5K race and expo held in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco was a tremendous success. The CCBA booth was one of the most popular booths as we supported this event by handing out over 15,000 pieces of cheese, recipes and butter coupons to the participants. ISSUE 21 NOVEMBER
2001 I would like to extend a special thank you to Joanne and Jesse Mesta (John J. Wollak Co., Inc) and Jennifer Mullen (California Milk Advisory Board) who helped to set up the booth and gave their Sunday to the CCBA to be at the booth on this October morning as the sun came up in San Francisco. It was a fall morning of wet grass and cold feet but well worth the time and effort.
Thank you also to the group of CCBA members who raced in the Temecula Race for the Cure!
Plan to attend California Cheese & Butter Association's 2002 Convention that will be held at Temecula Creek Inn April 25 - 28, 2002. Don Crabtree and his committee are busy planning to make this a wonderful weekend! See the enclosed brochure for more details! |
